Josh, I tried uploading an image to use as a background image--it won't allow me to do this.

Testing Update:
Register a new user: still receiving error message.

Look/Feel: Color Scheme/Fonts
I'd like to see the text change from "Preview Colors" to Preview, Save
because most of our non-web savvy volunteers will forget the fonts are on the same page as the colors. Similarly for the header: Web Colors... Perhaps, Color Scheme/Fonts is better.

All changes made worked.

Look/Feel: Layout
All bugs fixed.

Look/Feel: Layout Options
Last date/time of update still shows wrong date/time, but otherwise all the other bugs I reported appear to be fixed.

All,

Again, thank you for testing and helping us improve the RescueGroups.org Services!

All issues aside from the weird or special characters that are popping should now be resolved. Please re-test those issues previously unresolved.

A couple notes:
Locations
- should no longer be able to be deleted.

Last Updated
- Please check to make sure that any discrepancies in date and time are only due to the fact that times are inserted as East Coast times.
- If you do something on the site that you think should have updated the Last Updated date/time, but did not; please let me know.

Thanks again and let me know if you come across any other issues.

Registration:
I set up a new registration using a legitimate email address and the email was never received. Looked up the name in Contact Admin and was unable to open, gave Oops error. Removed entry from Contacts Admin, tried to re-register, but name comes up as being used. Tried a different username with same email address, email still did not go through and now the name does not show up in contacts.

Login/Logout
I reset a password for an account and the email was not received for this either. Password reset worked.

My Rescue Options page - contact info does not display all information
Firstname: Angela
Lastname: Shand
Company:
Address:
City: Fatal Error: Unable to get property cUserInfo::City.

Thanks,
Angie

I've finally completed my test assignment on 11/23/2008. Here are the issues I encountered:
Animals: Templates:
* I am unable to add new Owner or new Rescue records directly from the animal template page—after I enter the information and save the contact, it displays the error message:
“Oops, we had an error on one of our servers. We have logged the error and will follow up to resolve any issues. If you would like to contact us concerning this error, please email webmaster@rescuegroups.org. We apologize for the inconvenience. The error was: Database Error.”
* Although I am able to add new Foster, Colony, and Location records directly from the animal template page, it should be mentioned that each of those drop downs allowed entry of incorrect data in the city, state, and zipcode fields without recognizing it.
* I was able to edit templates, but some values did not come forward on the edited version.
* I was unable to delete templates – it displayed “Error on Page”

Animals: Add an Animal:
*When I add an animal and load a template, some of the values do not load as expected, including: secondary breed, found zipcode (and therefore found date). Especially problematic is the Birthdate—when I select 1 year for the age on the template, it populates the birthdate incorrectly as 2007-11-24 and displays the message: “This date is invalid. Please use the format MM/DD/YYYY.” Then if I alter it to the requested format, it allows me to ‘Save Animal’, but on the animal’s Web Page it incorrectly displays the animal’s age as 1997 years 11 months.
*All 4 photos seem to upload to the Add page, but when I ‘Save Animal’, the 3 bottom photos don’t appear and I get the error message “Oops, we had an error on one of our servers. We have logged the error and will follow up to resolve any issues. If you would like to contact us concerning this error, please email webmaster@rescuegroups.org. We apologize for the inconvenience. The error was: Database Error.”

No issues were encountered for Animals: Enable/Disable Fields; Required Fields; Browse Fields; List; Special Lists; Custom Special Lists; or Search.

(I don’t have other volunteers to check my shared templates to find out if they can see them or to create templates to see if I can delete them, so I wasn't able to do that part of my test assignment.)

My testing was done on a PC / Vista / Internet Explorer.

Sorry for the delay in getting to my testing assignments.

Animals: Journals - No problems were found during testing.
Online Forms:
I was not able to disable or delete online forms. Got an Error on Page message.
I was not able to create a new online form. Got an error message when I tried to save it.
I was not able to delete unused questions. Got an Error on Page message.
I was not able to edit the answers on a completed form. Got an error message on save.

I was not able to submit a completed form. Got an error message on save. So, did not test the sending an e-mail form the form.
Also couldn't test to see if it showed up on the completed forms page.
I was able to create a new report but not run it. Received a Fatal Error message.

Did not test the adoption contract pdf as we don't have that enabled.

Postby richardthomas » Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:44 pm

Hi,

Since the upgrade I can't delete any Animal Success Stories. This gets troublesome.
